5 Ways to Motivate Yourself to Workout
Early on Sunday morning, we had our event with Neighborhood Barre Nashville. And we really considered hitting that snooze button and rolling back to sleep.
Once we showed up our instructor Katie woke us up through a HIIT Barre class of toning exercises, a core routine, and a series of stretches. We soaked up the sun on the lawn outside the Trading Post and breathed in the fresh air!
After the workout, we were full of energy and already feeling stronger! That got us thinking that sometimes we just need a little motivation to get out the door.
So here are 5 ways to motivate yourself to workout!
1. Find Your Tribe
Get a group of your friends together. You can lean on each other for accountability! Even if you dread working out, we’re all better when we're together.
2. Check It Off The List
Consistency is key, so marking it on the calendar and checking it off is the best feeling and will boost your confidence!
3. Treat Yourself
Do something to look forward to after! Go for a walk and grab a coffee.
4. Look Your Best
Sometimes we feel lazy rolling out of bed. If you want to feel confident, set out your outfit the night before, just throw your hair up and put on our Neon Hybrid top, and get ready to make moves!
5. Write Down Your Intentions
The hardest part is starting, so write down a couple of intentions! Some things like, “I want to feel stronger” or “Those endorphins after the workout are going to be worth it!” Seeing these reminders will encourage you to come back for more!
And don't forget to check out a class with our friends at Neighborhood Barre Nashville.
